Neath College

The work that this group of students produce is always stunning and this evening was no stranger to high quality work.

From The Model

Really great to see everyone sharpening their pencils and getting stuck in with a healthy drawing practice for 2020. Always inspiring to see the progress of returning artists; a conscious cultivation that initiates growth. It becomes a form of meditation – a kind of routine that builds into a personal portfolio of growth, a kind of creative chronology.

Sunday Life Drawing

It’s a weekly thing, we only stop for the festive season, and it’s a well received and relaxed couple of hours of life drawing, sketching a nude or nudes, chatting to local artists and chilling in the Little Man’s very quiet vault.

Draw The Artist Photography

We had a student photographer, Alice, come along to our ‘Draw The Artist’ event a couple of weeks back. She simply wanted the opportunity to document a life drawing event and the ‘models’ and artists present were all OK with that.

Giggle Magazine

Draw The Artist 10/12/19

We’ll be offering up this opportunity again sometime in the spring of 2020 so if you fancy getting your model on then do watch this space 🙂

Under The Skin

Andy was contacted by a film student who’s next deadline included work where he needed to recreate accurately the light in a scene from a film. He chose the mirror scene in the great Scarlett Johansson film Under The Skin.

Everyone wants to feel confident naked. The pre-fall Garden of Eden existence – before the snake ruined everything – seems a pretty sweet deal, right?

Graphic Novel

We gathered at our usual Tuesday evening life drawing venue, Little Man Coffee Company in the centre of Cardiff and set up the room for that evenings session.
