Welcome to the NEW CLMC

Yes, welcome to the NEW Cardiff Life Model Collective. After a few days of furiously updating all platforms I think that everything is in place. There will…

Instascam

I believe that someone, likely a competitor, has reported Cardiff Life Model Collective for inappropriate images, and, so over the past few days, I have been having difficulty in maintaining the instagram feed. The end came when Instagram disallowed an image with no recourse for a review and with a warning that continued posting of such images would result in the deletion of the account.

Artists Response To Censorship

And so, in the midst of this lockdown, where is the protest? Where is the art forcing the viewer to question the government, to question the nature of the crisis and our response to it and where is the art that is a counter to the truly awful and dangerous actions of the social media giants, the broadcasting media and the press.

Fan Film

This piece is a testimony not only to the hard work of Cardiff Life Model Collective’s fine art models but also to Anna Korecká, the Cardiff based film maker who directed Happy Naked People for the BBC.

Happy Naked People

A rather excellent 3rd year film student studying at the University of South Wales, Anna Korecka, got in touch with us and after getting to know us and attending a few sessions of life drawing a plan began to hatch. A good while after our first contact Anna was back in touch and she had done an amazing thing, securing support from the BBC and winning one of four student documentary film slots!

Happy Naked People

Anna Korecka, a fine student filmmaker in her final year at The Atrium at The University of South Wales has worked with Andy and his team at Cardiff Life Model Collective and has made a short documentary film for BBC Wales

Giggle Magazine

This was the first piece written about us and unfortunately it no longer exists apart from a grainy and degraded photo of the actual pages…

Cardiff News Plus

Capital South Wales

Josh and Kally of Capital FM got in touch and Andy visited the Capital FM studios in Cardiff Bay… This was the result 🙂
